IT Sales – Account Manager – Housing/Revenues & Benefits Software
£50k-£60k BASIC, £90k-£120k OTE + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
This well established organisation is a leading provider of software and services into the public sector. They now have the need to bring on board an account manager to focus on selling their housing and revenue & benefits solutions into a number of existing accounts within the local government and housing sector across a specific territory. You will be tasked with driving the strategy forward, building relationships and also to a lesser extent targeting new name business. The ideal candidate will be a focused, driven, software sales professional, well versed in solution sales who has sold into the public sector, especially into local authorities and housing associations. You also need to have a proven track record in handling multiple deals and not just one or two large deals a year. Order values typically range from £25k-£300k but can reach £1m on occasion. To be successful in securing this role, you will need to demonstrate your account development and relationship building skills along with your experience in the public sector.
Candidate Skills Required:
- Proven track record of account development and new business wins
- Software solution sales experience
- Sold into the public sector
- A minimum of 5+ years IT sales experience
