Description

The Account Manager- Vision Care is a field based role maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders in both businesses and practitioners within the region to promote the range of products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and exploit new profitable opportunities in the given territory
  • Managing the business between the brand and its customers
  • Ensure that the brand maintains its recognition as a market leader and the first of choice for patients
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for the vision care division at conferences and customer meetings
  • Arranging appointments with store managers and decision makers
  • Managing your own diary to work effectively
  • Journey planning to ensure efficiency with appointments
  • Developing new business opportunities within your territory
  • Arranging appointments with store managers and decision makers
  • Selling into independent retailers

Profile

The successful account manager will demonstrate the following:

  • Graduate or equivalent (ideally in business or science)
  • Field sales experience (ideally medical)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial skills and commercial acumen
  • Account management experience in a client-facing role
  • Ability to obtain new business
  • Use of own initiative
  • IT literate
  • Experience of managing own diary
  • Full driving license
  • Residence in London
