My client is looking to recruit an Account Manager who will be responsible for nurturing and growing business in and around the East Midlands area. This candidate will be accountable for selling their whole portfolio of Workwear. The predominant sectors will be Industrial, Protective, Care, Food and Catering.

Client Details

A billion pound turnover business with presence in 15 countries across Europe. My client specialises in 6 different areas of business however the Account Sales Consultant will be focusing on purely the Workwear division. They maintain, launder, deliver and rent Workwear to a mixed range of public and private businesses.

Description

The Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Retention and development of an existing customer base
  • Delivering first class customer service and building strong relationships
  • Representing the company in a professional manner keeping in line with the business strategy
  • Develop an in depth understanding of customer needs
  • Give structured feedback to marketing and the Field Sales Manager/Sales Director in order to improve the service to customers
  • Act as a lead point of contact for your customers with all queries
  • Establish and grow opportunities across your territory and co-operate with the sales team to ensure profitable growth

Profile

  • Be self motivated and demonstrate the desire and determination to succeed
  • Good time management is essential
  • Possess strong relationship building skills
  • Have good communications skills and ability to liaise at all levels, both within the company and with external organisations
  • Have a proven track record in account management
  • Have experience of successfully working from within a sales team with marketing, commercial and operational teams
  • Be skilled in the use of reporting and communications tools - Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Have the ability to travel around the UK (primarily) as required

Job Offer

  • Up to £30,000 basic salary (dependant on experience)
  • Company car
  • Commission
