The Role: As External Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of industrial customers in sectors such as paper, paint and construction manufacturing. You will be selling a vast range of raw materials for use in materials science applications and will be able to discuss the details of these with business owners and senior buyers. The External Account Manager will receive a full company induction and product training and enjoy ongoing sales career options as they continue to expand.
The Company: Established in 1970 and a £250 million sales turnover, this organisation has cemented themselves as the market leaders in the supply of chemicals to pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetics manufacturers. With renewed confidence in the manufacturing industry and plans for expansion over the next 12 months, they are now looking to recruit a new External Account Manager to join the sales force.
For this External Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Field sales experience
You will have a stable track record of successfully managing a territory and existing accounts
Excellent relationship building skills and plenty of drive are essential
